Now, if you look under the vent duct you will see the wiring for the passenger side blend air door a magnet on a stick works real well fro retrieving dropped screws and sockets. The hot air is blown directly from the engine if the blend door isn't working properly. A blend door moves to vary the amount of air passing through the vehicle's heater core.
